I started to post this short film in June...and had to get back to editing another...at the Middle of July I recieved a Email from Pinnacle/Avid Systems...I had submitted it on line for a Studio User Film contest...The Film Was selected as THE BEST FILM OF THE MONTH and is now being used 24/7 to showcase how you can use STUDIO 10 ...and is listed on iTunes as an iPOD Award Winning Film...So, now I decided to complete the listing of Man Of God and Hope...it was a simple moment...there I was getting cash out of a ATM in Westwood to eat at THE APPLE PAN (one of LA's greatest Hamburger Pie joints) when a Man carrying a window washer kit. ..came up to me to ask for work...I said sure...and as he washed the windows he started to tell me stories...OF WISDOM...I stopped him..and told him I wanted to make a short film...I would pay him some cash and he would need to sign a release...it was my instinct that drove me...and my preparedness that captured the moment...I had one of my Camera's in the trunk of my car...I gave him cash and a release to sign...anothet film maker at the ATM gladly witnessed the release...it was a very blessed moment ...so, I shot 30 minutes of tape and edited it down to 4 minutes...just a few days before this meeting I had been recording an original sountrack for a film ...all my music...so I had some new music to use...so, I edited a tune I sang from the soundtrack....it was done in a three day period (Last summer)...everyone who sees the film is very Inspired...no one ever expects this man Chris Rabb to be so humble...so full of love...humility, and Hope...he just transcends his lot in life and teaches some very important lessons...in just four minutes as he cleans the windows on my car...he clears away alot of confussion and makes the world even in his postion... a great journey...you see, he was a crack cocaine addict...but was clean for six years...I called him about the Success of our film and he told me he is now clean 7 years...that meant more to me that he continues his path of being in control of his life then the Award...but it's great that we also are acknowledged for his words and my Film Making...he' is a Man of God...and HOPE...enjoy...Always Michael Savage aka SIRTONY
