The Doctor is in but he has no idea what he is 'in for.' Three couples at different stages of break-up or divorce discuss the ramifications of their choices with a therapist. MANDY, a pretentious, goal-oriented corporate-ladder climber has no idea of the reperccussions when, according to plan, she has an affair with an executive at her office and dumps her current boyfriend, Alan, because he's not good looking enough. ALAN, Mandy's put upon boyfriend, takes rejection to heart and proceeds on a reckless rampage at a strip club that nearly costs him his life. TESS and RAYMOND, an upper middle class African American family have become disconnected but must come to terms with Raymond's infidelity. Tess takes the news very hard and with no other option available contemplates ending Raymond's life in the same way he ended her dreams. With a gun aimed at his heart, she must decide if her broken dreams are worth a lifetime in prison. SEAN and AMY, a young vibrant couple must deal with Sean's insatiable need for sex and Amy's dissatisfaction with the size of his little penis. Sean dumps Amy when she ceases all sexual activity, but Amy has become distraught by her prowess at faking orgasms and is simply trying to find a new way to enjoy sex with her puny penis boyfriend. In the end our stories mesh and become interwined in a crescendo of pain, anguish and closure.
