Film Description:
Synopsis
In the outer reaches of Brooklyn, in a makeshift laboratory, Stuart Hornsley has built a time machine. And it works. Now he can travel to the past, to the single moment when his life began to fall apart. Seven years ago, Stuart missed his chance with the lovely and ebullient Mimi Chan, a fellow doctoral student in physics. It was the afternoon of the total solar eclipse, and Mimi came barreling through his laboratory on her way to watch it. When she invited Stuart to come with her, he refused ¿ he was too absorbed in his experiments, too close to making a breakthrough in his time travel research. If only he had said, ¿Yes!¿ Then everything would have turned out differently. His brilliant career wouldn¿t have fizzled. He wouldn¿t be lonely. He wouldn¿t feel forgotten by the rest of the world. And most importantly, he wouldn¿t be stuck in Brooklyn, while Mimi circles the Earth as an astronaut on the International Space Station. So, enlisting the help of his 11-year-old neighbor, Vitaliy, Stuart travels back in time and tries repeatedly to undo his greatest mistake. But the tiny changes he makes in the past end up having ever more surprising repercussions on the present. Now Stuart must race to succeed at love before his life goes totally awry.
