Film Description:
Synopsis
In this moving and gentle comedy, loosely based on a true event, two worlds collide. In one world lives a 4yo girl dying to spend time with her daddy, she is excited about a promised day in the park In the other world lives the anal father. Mummy has gone to visit grandma in hospital,leaving daddy with his daughter. He barely notices he has a little girl and has in fact forgotten he is to take her to the park on this fateful day (tension is building). Instead all his energies are focused on looking good for an important business meeting. As he goes to leave the house he realises that someone has to mind the little girl and he recalls, to his horror, that that someone is him. They strike a deal, a quick trip to the park and in return she will behave in the business meeting. Things do not go as planned but memories are created for all. Daddy ends up not looking good and his business prospects are ruined, but for his daughter the day is wonderful.

Beautiful! Toni Powell has made a really warm hearted and lovely film. You don't need to believe me to see that though, just look at the festival success of this little gem!

"Looking Good" is a heart-warming look at a father-daughter outing -- through the eyes of a little girl. The photography is excellent and the acting feels real. First-time director Toni Powell and her talented family have made something to be proud of.
