Six months after the death of his brother Matt, Rick Miller still can’t cope with reality. Sleepless nights, and a battle with his bottle is putting a deep strain on his marriage with his wife, Michelle. The only thing that helps take away the pain is those long midnight drives with his brother’s wife, Julia. Eight months pregnant, and all the more beautiful for it Julia’s grief over Matt’s death leads her straight into the arms of her former high school love Rick. As they take a drive to calm their nerves, issues they have been ignoring come up. As they discuss their broken, on again, off again relationship, they see a pattern.
