Film Description:
Synopsis
Is there someone who knows Pasolini better than himself? Through his words, read by Toni Servillo and illustrated by images of italian archives, we discover a surprising history of Italy from the post-war period untill the 70's. The love for the people, the hate for the bourgeiosie, the difficult relation with the cultural revolution of '68, the homologation. Ideas, obsessions, blazing remarks on society of the poet are interlaced with the tale of a stoy that has never seen the light. It is the last movie project of Pasolini, and we hear the real voice of the poet reading the plot to his collaborators.
