Film Description:

Synopsis

This is a short film that loves movies and doesn't pander to the expectations of those who like their shorts quiet and poignant. ??and I knew there was something wrong with the girl the first time I killed her?. A pumped-up, overblown thriller of a teen flick which gets rudely invaded by sci-fi as the class reject stalks the prom queen and gets more than was advertised on the packaging? A comic book tale on the perils of consumerism, this is the story of a bright guy spiralling out of control in his obsession for something entirely superficial. His downfall being fed by the corporate machine that sells utopian beauty in a box. And as the smart guy prepares to be assimilated, he has nothing to blame but his own greed for idealised happiness and shallow lust. Though there may be a more subversive master plan at work? This full-on, gun-blazing tub of popcorn is an outrageous big-budget-looking assault on the short film scene.
