Synopsis
Three disgraced homicide detecives are given a new challenge, the year old double murder of two mob connected men. Albert Richie and Eric 'Stoney' Jackson were grinding it out in the streets of New York--making money the old fashion way, illegally. Franklin 'Frankie Frats' Fratiani ran a criminal enterprise that beared the financial fruits of the minions in his employ. A racketeering indictment against 'Frankie Frats' , Richie , and 'Stoney' created an initiative by 'Frankie Frats' to eliminate individuals that were willing to becoming witnesses against the boss. Starting from scratch, Det. Bolton, Minnis, and Fermin had to dig up the clues and search for a killer even if that search took them as far as Arizona to solve the crime. To add clarity and direction to their search, the three detectives receive consultation from famed FBI profiler, Lola Pruitt, which becomes very helpful in leading them to the killer. In a city where lies are rampant and the truth is at a high premium. One by one, the bodies began to drop as clues and the investigative process began to take form. In the end, five murders and one missing and presumed dead lead to only one conclusion . . .there's a serial killer in our midst. Shot at a fast-moving pace in New York City, Long Island, and Arizona, Splitting Hairs 2.0: Case Cold balances action and violence and delivers tender and comedic monents through and intersting cast of characters, who all have something to prove or hide.
