Synopsis
A heartbreaking tale about a young woman named Dawn struggling to provide for her younger sisters. As everything just seems to get worse, Dawn must find a way to protect her loving siblings from their abusive mother, a pedophile, and foster care while overcoming her greatest obstacle, herself.

"Simply Lost", to say the least, is my most personal and proudest film to date. All my previous works dealt with the supernatural or the fantasy realm, where I could ignore the rules of reality at a whim. However, the most enduring tales are those centering on the people we love. This particular story is based on a very close friend, who like Dawn (the lead character), struggles to provide for her little sisters. These three young ladies are very dear to me and I felt strongly that their story had to be shared. So I've spent the last year and a half completely absorbed in this film, making absolutely certain everything was perfect. Six months re-writing, three months pre-production, two weeks of shooting, and six months in post-production. It's been a long haul but it was worth every minute. Thanks to an amazing cast and wonderful crew, we were able to bring my vision to life. I’m very pleased to share “Simply Lost” with you all.
