Dam Short Film Festival! Jan 01, 2007 04:04PM
Soap Opera has been selected to show at the Dam Short Film Festival in Boulder City, Nevada, on February 10. We expect to rock the house so much it will poke a hole in the dam, and we'll have to turn back time to patch it, just like Superman.
Schedule for Annapolis Film Festival Oct 17, 2006 12:47PM
The Annapolis Film Festival schedule has been released, and Soap Opera is scheduled for November 11, 7:30 P.M., in the Auditorium of the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.

It's the "curtain-raiser" for The Big Bad Swim, whose producer I coincidentally met at the Connecticut Film Festival a couple weeks ago.

I'm still not sure if I'll be there or not--it all depends on NYC Shorts.
Best Animated Film! Sep 20, 2006 10:53AM
Oh, and DUH! Forgot to mention this one:

Soap Opera won Best Animated Film at its most recent screening. I'm honored, and send many thanks to the Idaho Panhandle International Film Festival for their esteem. (Yes, I do get one of those cool eagles!)

Now it's time to stop blogging and get back to animating again, damn it.

Annapolis loves a Soap Opera Sep 20, 2006 10:06AM
Soap Opera has just been accepted as a competitive entry in the 2006 Annapolis Film Festival. I'm pretty happy about this; Annapolis screened <ESC> last year and I wasn't able to go, so with any luck I'll make it this year.

They rejected The Cell-Phone, though, thus becoming the precise opposite of Connecticut (who accepted TCP, but rejected SO).

Sometimes, there's just no accounting for taste.
