Film Description:

Synopsis

Roommates Rob and Kurt are essentially a modern day odd couple. Rob is tidy and well groomed where as Kurt could win the prize for “world’s laziest slob”. Rob wants to finally bring his girlfriend Katie over for a romantic night, so he asks Kurt to clean up their messy apartment. When Kurt refuses, a series of battles occur. First they try the classic tic-tac-toe challenge but they end up in a tie. Next they try to solve the problem with a three round match of rock, paper, scissors. When rock paper scissors fails them, the two partake in the ultimate form of battle: taking it to the fridge! This gross out food competition results in Kurt being the victor-- and therefore the 'master'-- and Rob having to comply with Kurt's clean up wishes. Katie unexpectedly bursts into Rob’s apartment and finds that he is dressed as a French maid. Luckily the leftovers from their culinary battle manage to save the day, and clear Rob’s name!

broad humor film fest (xposted) Jul 06, 2006 03:33PM
i just got back from the Broad Humor Film Festival! It was a great experience. I got to meet a lot of other funny femal filmmakers, and even some male ones too! I also really enjoyed seeing the work that screened at the fest. My screening also went really well! About 40ish people came to see the "gross out" section, which is the section my film showed in. People laughed and gave me compliments so that was awesome. The best and most unexpected part of the fest, though, was WINNING AN HONORABLE MENTION AWARD (40 films screened, 5 got big awards, 7 got honorable mentions-- and this was my first fest and first college film)!! Really, that was icing on an already fabulous cake. oh and "take it to the fridge" is also up on imdb! how cool is that???
go see it! Jun 21, 2006 09:27PM
