Film Summary

The Performance Artist, Claire Blundell Jones, has collaborated with filmmaker Ed Hartwell to make a narrative short film about Tumbleweed Girl, a protagonist anti-hero who walks across London escorting a tumbleweed with a leaf blower. Lonely and desolate, she seeks attention and friendship. She receives a variety of genuine responses from strangers who she passes. These range between ignoring her, smiling at her, jeering at her and conversing with the cameraman. Will she ever meet anyone quite like her on this journey? To her relief she is not the only person with a tumbleweed. During her walks, she passes Tumbleweed Boy.
