Film Description:
Synopsis
Behind the hardened exterior of Sergeant Archer lies a man deeply concerned for the welfare of his men as he prepares them for the tragedies of war. In this intense drama we find a Marine squad severely divided by discrimination. Sergeant Archer has the insurmountable task of breaking down the walls of hatred to bring these men together into a solid fighting unit and lead them through one of the bloodiest battles of the Pacific. Sergeant Archer knows all too well about the horrors of war and tells his men, there is nothing glorious about combat. He studies the faces of the young soldiers in his squad and replies, 'You're going to see Marines being killed; men with arms, legs or both blown off. When artillery shells hit near you and men are blasted to bits you're going to be sprayed with blood and flesh and the smell is going to make you want to puke. And no matter which way you turn you won't be able to escape the brutality. When we hit the beaches you will have one simple order to follow, and that is, to stay alive.' In the following days of training and bloody combat these men will learn profound lessons that will change their lives forever as they deal with prejudice, intolerance and their tragic effects on humanity and the world as a whole. This is their remarkable story.

WWII Men of the Pacific (Trailer)
There is nothing glorious about war. WWII: Men of the Pacific is the profound, thought provoking drama about the seven marines of B-Squad, who are plagued by anti-Semitism, discrimination and the tragedies of war.

A friend of mine told me to watch your trailer on google. I've never seen an independent film look so together. Are you screening the movie anywhere yet, or is there some way to see some more scenes?

Thanks for taking a look at WWII. We shot the film in 25 days. We made the film under a Screen Actors Guild Contract so that we could acquire professional actors. IF you do you film under a SAG agreement they have an online casting site where you can post your project.
I networked a lot to obtain cast and crew. We also had some assistance from the Department of Defense which helped in the making of our picture.
We spend over a year in preproduction which included in several months scouting locations, planning out battle sequences, obtaining wardrobe and etc.

Looks like a really interesting film. Curious to know something about the making of it. How long did it take you to film it, where'd you get the actors.....that sorta thing. My film, "Don't Talk So Dumb," was my first and I found the whole process fascinating.

Our film is dedicated to all the men and women who made great personal sacrifices to serve their country during perilous times.
"WWII Men of the Pacific," is not an action adventure war film. It is a profound drama dealing with discrimination and the tragedy of War. It is a deeply touching personal film which we hope you will like.
