The produciton team of Barry Battles and Griffin Hood make up bearhood. Mr. Extion is their first film collaboration and they look forward to the new year and hopefully a few festival acceptances thrown in there somewhere.

Taking a Break

We've decided to take a break this summer to work on our future projects. We plan on hitting the road again in September. So far our film has been accepted to 28 festivals and won 8 awards. We have met amazing people across this great country of ours and hope to continue to meet more people once we get back out to festivals this fall.

busy busy busy

We're gearing up for a busy couple of months so far. We head to Delray Beach next week. then we just got word that we'll be screening at Crossroads Film Festival in Jackson, MS at the end of march, we'll also be screening at Longbaugh in Portland, OR the same weekend but we won't be making that trip, after that it's back to Florida for the Sunscreen Film Festival in St. Petersburg and then we'll head out to California for the Newport Beach Film Festival!! All the while we continue pre-production on our next film. That's the update for now. Hope to meet some of you Wabbers on the circuit.

All American Film Festival

We had a great time in Durham, NC for the All American Film Festival. The films that were shown were unbelievable it was such a strong line up. We took home Best Comedy and couldn't have been more thrilled. Todd Tinkham, the festival director, is the best and a very good filmmaker as well.

Delray Beach

We just got accepted into the Delray Beach Film Festival. I don't know if we're gonna be able to go seeing how every place to stay down there is really expensive but we're gonna see what we can do. None the less we are incredibly excited and honored to be in the festival!!!!!

Durham

We'll be headed to Durham at the end of February for the All American Film Festival. We don't know the screening time but the competition there is unbelievable. We're looking forward to making new friends and seeing more great cinema!!

What a week

We had a blast at the Southern Fried Flicks Film Festival. Our film won Best Short and Audience Choice. We couldn't be more pleased and we were just overwhelmed by everything. Thanks to all who saw the film and those who didn't make the festival fingers crossed we will make it in to other festivals. We have some pretty big notify dates coming up so we'll keep everybody posted!!

semi-finalist

Mr. Extion was chose as a semi-finalist for the "What the hell did I just watch?" comedy video festival, but unfortunatly didn't make the cut as a finalist. We're looking forward however to the trip to Georgia in a couple of days hoping to meet some other filmmakers and see a bunch of great films.

Southern Fried Flicks

We just got into our first festival of the year. We'll be heading to Augusta for the week to take in all the films. We're looking forward to meeting other filmmakers and seeing all the southern made films. Don't forget to check out the website www.mrextionmovie.com if you want to see more about the film. I'll try to keep things tidy on here but i'm not used to the WAB formats yet.
