Mostly I direct commercials. I've done hundreds, some of which you may have actually seen, for clients like Sony PlayStation, Arizona Tourism, Nissan, Nintendo, McDonald's, and Toyota. Two are in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
I've shot maybe a half-dozen short films and documentaries, and for a while there I was screening at a lot of film festivals. I won some pretty impressive awards, but I kind of got tired of the scene.
I've written six scripts. Okay, I've written more than a dozen, but six are good enough to show around. I racked up something like 32 screenwriting awards, then I realized that all the money I was spending on entry fees would go a long way to producing one of my films, so I stopped entering.
I'm planning on shooting one of my scripts this fall.
