Ts'up? I haven't been on WAB for a while so figured I'd contact my friend's list for updates. Drop me a line when you can to let me know how you're making out.

I'm quite amazed with your film. Like Maukka said it looks like a serious production. I'm very interested to know more about your production, camera, editing equipment, actors and your plan of action/philosophies about filmmaking.

    Brock:

I really admire all the work that went into your film. I can imagine that the unforms and such were a real challenge to procure. I have my Dad's WWII Airforce uniforms and it strikes me how well they were made. I swear they will last forever. Not so true, I think, about the modern day military gear. I didn't have to work nearly so hard on my film. In fact, it is mostly dialogue and was filmed in 4-days at my house. Dialogue is my fascination and so I like what I wrote a lot. Used to feel weird saying that but no more. The promotion side of indie filmmaking gives one a pretty tough skin.........hopefully. Watching the Oscars tonight and hope I can take the liberal stuff, as I seem to be the only conservaitve on WAB. I'm betting on DiCaprio. I wasn't thrilled with, "The Departed," but I thought his screen presence was impressive.

    Keep in touch,

    Hi Brock,

Thanks for your comments about my film TRACES. I'm glad you appreciated the trailer. The link to the complete version on-line is there only temporarily. If you try to watch the film mater and the link no longer works, contact me at

I just watched your trailer on Google! Wow. Seems like you had a serious production, and some good actors. I understand from the synopsis that the film is not at all a regular war movie, but a much more thought provoking film. Sounds very interesting, I would love to see it somewhere. Have you send it to any festivals in Europe?

Good luck with WWII MEN OF THE PACIFIC!

    Dear Brock,

I apologize for the spam message, but I just recently finished a short of mine and was looking for feedback on it. If you have 30 minutes, please feel free to take a look at it:

    Brock:

Thanks for the note. I was a little hesitant to put some of the dialogue out there but it seems to have attracted some attention. I sure enjoyed the movie making process more than the marketing. I really respect the subject matter that you are dealing with. Curious to know more details. I'll keep an eye out for future blogs. It gets addicting! We all have something in common.
