Latley I was busy being an Asst Director to Mr. Menahem Golan in his new upcoming Israeli film Hactuba. Menahem Golan, if you recall was responsible for the films "Over the Top" with Silvester Stalone and "Delta Force" with Chuck Nuris, "Kazablan" , and other action movies we loved to grow with... It was intresting experience and there is alot to learn from him. I think I manage to do that.

RomanticA was filmed in May 2005. It took eight months to get it into 9 min length, and for a short it's too much of a drag, But it was worth trying to get it as perfect as is it today. ”RomanticA” was in the official selection of NYC Downtown short film festival, it's got great reviews by Albert Gabai (“Cinema 3” TV).

Gal Ziv was born in Israel; after he finished the Army, he went to study film in The U.S at the Los Angeles City College, USA, than transferred to Carl State University at Northridge. In 1999, he was the Director of photography of two short features: “Final Chapther 2K” and “Saram Saram”. In 1999 He then visited his country again to make his own short feature – “The Adventures of Lasal Laslangdin”. At the end of 1999, he came back to Los Angeles to finish his Degree in Cinema production.He recently finished his second short feature “RomanticA”. He lives in Israel, working in a Post Production company and continues to write and direct.

    I have gone to Israel- i think its a beautiful place (I traveled from Eilat to the Golan and back again, the whole country twice in a week... something you can't even imagine doing in the us, no?).
