A surreal short film set in the ruins of London, driven by a contemporary music-hall libretto. The film contrasts the beautiful and grotesque in a narrative focusing on the universal question - are our lives driven by destiny… or chance?
This powerful short narrative embodies key aspects of the classic Gothic tale, with echoes of Du Maurier's Trilby and Le Fanu's dark stories.
The mystery of the 'true' nightmare of the narrative is left to the viewer to decide.

GLOL screens at the 2008 Women in Film Festival, BC

We have just received an invitation for the 2008 Women in Film Festival, BC which takes place in Vancouver, BC in March. Our screening is Saturday, March 8th at the Vancity Theatre & I'm seriously excited & honoured to be taking part in this Women in Film and Television/Vancouver event. Hooray!!

Gorgeous wins Best Short Film in Dubrovnik!

I'm so delighted that GLOL has won best short. It was a festival that I was looking forward to for ages & this made the whole experience all the sweeter.
We have also been accepted into the Cardiff Int Film Festival & most excitingly now qualify for a Bafta nomination! Who knew? When we were out in icey January weather - feezing our booties off-everyone working for only food- that we would ever complete a film that would be seen by the British academy award people. I'm amazed, shocked &......well proud.

GLOL invades the west coast this summer! I'm planning to make a big trip of our screenings from late July to Sept & will be attending our screenings at;
Napa Sonoma- July 24-Aug 13 (we screen July 30)
Tahoe Reno- Aug 23-27
San Francisco Shorts- Aug 10-12
Palm Springs- Aug 24- 30
Bumbershoot Festival- Seattle Sept 2-4
I plan to have a great time & meet many new people. If you plan to attend any of these fests, lets get together! sh
