Posturing as a well-to-do Manhattan socialite, a young, blue-collar-born woman discovers a dark family secret: her grandmother is not an Irish Catholic, but one of Poland’s ‘Hidden Children’ – a Jew who escaped the concentration camps through conversion; and the two women are forced to confront their true identities as they struggle to reconcile their past with the present.
Production is scheduled for Spring, 2007.
