Needless Films makes Independent Films and Motion Graphics on the 'no budget' model. Our first short, 'The One Long Night', set the first milestone in our 'films for fun' philosophy, and our own proof of concept for our future film efforts. More information can be found at www.needlessfilms.com

Dichotomy of Man starts principal photography March 18th! Mar 10, 2007 04:50PM
We have finally set a shooting schedule for Dichotomy of Man. The first day of shooting is March 18th, and continues through April. It's a long schedule, as everyone has day jobs, and many work on Saturdays - leaving only Sundays to shoot principal photography. Maybe some day we can be paid to do this full time...
Production for Dichotomy of Man set to shoot mid March. Feb 25, 2007 02:18PM
It looks like all of the preliminary work has been done for Dichotomy of Man. Pre-production is pretty much done, save for getting location agreements for one of the locations. I will update the blog when the actual start date is set, and when more information becomes available. More up-to-date information is usually available at the Needless Films website.
First production meeting for Dichotomy of Man Feb 15, 2007 10:02PM

We finished up our first official production meeting for Dichotomy of Man on Tuesday, Feb 13. We will start shooting in two months. One of the main actors need time to grow a beard, and we still have a few location details to work out. Other than that, all of the resources are coming together for this production, which is far more ambitious than The One Long Night.

Check back often for up to date information.

Almost done with preproduction on next film. Feb 12, 2007 07:55PM
We are really close to shooting our second film, Dichotomy of Man. We are really excited about this film as it has a much better story than our first film, which was really only written a proof of concept. I will be starting a film site here when we get into shooting, and hopefully have production shots on the Needless Films website.

Thanks for the response to, "Don't Talk So Dumb." I'm not so good at the on-line stuff so please send me a private message so we can continue our discussion. Oh, and remind me to tell you what I have learned about Pumelo.

Thanks,

George
