Jenni Ghahate Monet belongs to the Pueblo of Laguna and is a freelance journalist. Monet is a former anchorwoman and reporter for various CBS affiliates across the country. Currently she is in-development of an independent feature-length documentary profiling American Indian identity in the 21st century.

    when will production begin with your doc? living for awhile in the inland empire in CA i met a few natives...They run a few casinos out here so they have very much gained back some authority over the land...they are self sustained economically and socially and every other which way...its always interesting to see how they've adapted and taken control over their lives the past fifty years or so...it will be certainly interesting to see what they accomplish in the next 20 years
