One Night Silent: One Year

It was a year ago Christmas day when we began day 1 of filmming One Night Silent. Since then we've returned to regular life and work, Tom's back in California, Etha and I are back at school and David's joing the Navy. The film was turned down by the Sundance Film Festival but has recieved praise from viewers outside our circle of friends and relatives. The short still limps on and will always remain a testament to the friendship the filmmakers had while making it. During a past viewing I peeled away the layers of the film and saw the mistakes, mishaps, achievements and core idea of the film. This short will always hold a place in my heart and I hope to see it continue as festival piece and an enjoyment for the lucky few who see it. It is a masterpiece in my eyes.
