Film Maker's Blog
2. I hope to meet some of you at the LA screening of my film this Thursday.
3. I wanted to mention that this film would never have been made were it not for this awesome nonprofit film studio (the country's first!) based in Seattle and called "The Film Company". The brainchild of Gregg Lachow, a wonderful filmmaker in his own right, their MO is to greenlight artists, not projects. They invite filmmakers whose work they love to make a feature film with them and they offer the services of a full-time staff (incredibly talented, generous collaborative artists) and produce the whole thing. Working with them was completely dreamy. In fact, it changed my life.

2) I hope folks come to the LA screening of my film tomorrow and come up to say hi after!

Brainchild of Gregg Lachow, a talented filmmaker in his own right, The Film Company greenlights artists not projects. They invite filmmakers whose work they love to come make features with them. Their fulltime staff of collaborative film artists (talented and generous to a one) provide the crew and the Film Company produces. Being invited to write and direct a film with them was the pretty much the most remarkable experience of my life, second only to giving birth to my kid.
