Here we Go

This is my first blog entry anywhere. I am Susan Sybenga, twisted sister behind Tall Chick Productions. Today is my birthday as well. Good day for starting new projects. LOL Anyway here's the scoop on my films. Papa's Gone Missing can be seen on IFC's Media Lab. It was created in 2005. nominated for Best Micro Picture at Bare Bone Int'l Film Festival in April, 2006. Dream Journal: The Long Dark Way (aka The Nightmare) is a teleplay that won 2nd place for Shook-N-OK Screenplay competition and took the top prize for Best Live Screenplay Reading at Script-2-Screen Film Festival in October, 2006. Mythbusters? is a spoof of the Discovery Channel show that made the finals, but was withdrawn for artistic reasons. At The Cinema, a 55 second VCAM for Pop Secret, can be seen at current.tv and will be submitted in longer version to film festivals. In the works we have: Screenplays - Volatility, a ghost story based on my grandparents. Good Night, Sweet Prince, about John Barrymore. Dead Run, episode two of Dream Journal, and in Film - Why Zombies Can't Dance, a music video, choreographed by my 11 year old niece.
